Make By Design were awarded the contract to design, manufacture and install the specialist joinery package for both buildings A & C at The Distillery, Avon Street, Bristol

Working with principle contractor Kier Construction and AWW architects over a 3 month design and build programme, Make  By Design designed, manufactured and installed the following items of joinery:

Patina Copper and Spradling's Leather shaped reception desk to Building A

Patina Copper and Spradling's Leather shaped reception desk to Building C

Black Egger Perfect Sense feature wall cladding complete with secret doors to both building's A &C.

Teapoints and coffee points to both buildings A & C complete with limed American White Oak veneer cabinets, Neolith Pietra Di Luna worktops and splashback's.

Kitchenette's to buildings A & C in Egger finishes and Boston Contrete worktops.

Basement washrooms including floating vanity units and hand made wash hand basins formed from Neolith Pietra Di Luna. 

We also manufactured and supplied 65Nr. mirror cabinets to the washrooms throughout both Buildings A & C and were installed by JJ Interiors.

This project was another great example of Make By Design's ability to incorporate multiple discipline materials and manufacture's into our service, with the supply and installation of patina copper cladding and leather upholstered desk surface to the reception desks.

 

Despite many challenges of working during the  COVID19 global pandemic, works were completed on time in March 2021.
