Working with Shine Food Machinery Ltd. Make By Design manufactured and installed a new front bar, rear bar and cladding works to the hot pass between the kitchen and main dining space at Cardiff and Vale College’s new 5th floor training kitchen and restaurant.

The front bar featured Welsh slate frontage and solid ash topwork, the rear bar featured solid and veneer ash sections with mirror glass set against the wall and glass shelves spanning between sections.

The front of the pass section was clad with solid ash planks differing in thicknesses and sizes to achieve a ripple effect.

Works were complete in late summer 2015.
