Make By Design were awarded the contract to design, manufacture and install the specialist joinery package for our valued client Kier Construction for the new Dyson Cancer Centre at the RUH, Bath.

This project involved collaboration with artist, Kate Bond who designed the floral artwork printed directly to the solid surface reception desk. The co-ordinated artwork was CnC machined into desk itself, illuminating just the floral artwork on the desk and making a significant statement of both the artwork and the desk itself.
​
Along with several other reception desks to all wards within the building, Make By Design were also appointed to design for manufacture, manufacture and install the slatted acoustic timber panelling and high level acoustic works to the main atrium. Challenges included forming the slatted cladding the curved walls which has all been secret fixed.

In addition, over a 20 week design and build programme, Make By Design designed, manufactured and installed the following items of joinery:
