Make By Design were appointed to carry out the joinery works to the new renovated Peabody's Coffee Shop at St Georges Hospital in London.

Working closely with Milan-based studio Modourbano, Make By Design supplied all of the joinery elements to the coffee shop including:

​

• 252 Oak boxes with a natural and sinuous geometry, parametrically distributed, descending from the ceiling hiding within the technical elements of the air conditioning and lights, and also ensuring greater acoustic comfort.

• Oak and powder coated seating and tables

• Oak window benches

• Servery and rear counter including acrylic solid surface (corian) worktop and splashbacks

• Signage Panels

• Bin & condiments unit

Works were completed at the store in January 2017.
