Make By Design were awarded the contract to design, manufacture and install a new seating structure at Omnibus Office Park, Reigate.

Working with our valued client Vibe Office Interiors over a 12 week design and build programme, Make  By Design designed, manufactured and installed the new seating structure and reception screen with superb end results. The structure had to be designed with no mechanical fixings to the existing floor finishes so specialist structural engineering design was required in order to design the pod so that it could be assembled safely and would stand the test of time.

The structure was designed and manufactured from glue laminated softwood beams (glu-lam) sourced locally and supplied by one of our local supply chain partners, machined to profile and finished here in our factory premises in Bristol prior to being delivered to site for assembly and installation.

The specialist structures also incorporated feature LED lighting, booth seating and TVs mounted to the ends of the units.

Works were completed on time and in budget in September 2021.
