Make By Design were appointed in the autumn of 2017 to design, manufacture and install a new acrylic solid surface (Corian®) front servery counter at the cafe based in Penarth on the outskirts of Cardiff, South Wales.

The choice of colour was Staron California Poppy which set off the bright orange theme for the cafe. The counter also incorporates solid oak shelves which are located in the central bread unit section of the counter.

The cafe successfully opened in the summer of 2017.
