Make By Design were awarded the contract to design, manufacture and install the specialist joinery package for a new Better Foods store on Gloucester Road, Bristol

Working with our valued client and fit out specialists, Mobius Construction over a 12 week design and build programme, Make By Design designed, manufactured and installed the following items of joinery:

New Bread and Soup Display Station
New Refil Area Counter
New Servery Counter
New Retail Unit
​
Various finishes were incorporated into the design including oak veneer and corrugated sheet metal. With sustainability at the heart of the design and business model to Better Foods, it was important to work with as many sustainably sourced mateials as possible. We were approached by the design team on the project to work with a new material called Nurdle which is made from recycled bottles and plastics. More information on the product can be found here:
